Portraiture
​
I began photographing friends and family in college on an old Pentax film camera that my father bought when I was born. Developing them in the darkroom was a magical experience as I watched my photographs slowly appear in the tray of developer. I discovered the excitement of capturing someone's personality in a single image and I loved getting to show people the beauty I saw in them.

Fast forward many years later and a lot has changed, but portraiture is still one of my favorite things to do. With a background in studio art and many years in a professional field, I enjoy creating a wide range of portraits - from fine art portraiture and fashion photography to professional headshots.
